Since Feb 2022 I have been leaving mini works of art out in the world for people to find. Our local NPR station, KUTAustin, recently interviewed me about my 'guerrilla art'.
The subject of my art, whether as an etching, relief print, painting or collage, is inspired by nature. As a child growing up in Brazoria County, Texas, I spent my free time out exploring the fields and creeks that surrounded our home. Spotted Sparrow is inspired by the spunky song birds that frequent our yard in Central Austin. There is beauty in small moments; my goal as an artist is to capture the essence of those moments.
My art can be found at the Historic Old Bakery & Emporium, one block south of the Texas State Capitol.
